so i am FINALLY doing a review of this product. i bought this product at macys for $27 about 1 month ago and i haven't stopped using it since. i absolutely love this product! it is a gel consistency just like the mac matte gel but this product actually works for me. what i do is put this on everyday after i finished my skincare routine and primer. it is the last step before makeup. i only put a tiny bit of this on my t-zone (because it is the most oiliest). i do believe that it helps my makeup stay on a lot longer because of how it blocks the oil. sometimes i can go the whole day without blotting; that is the majority of the time. on one really hot day i got oily in the late afternoon so i put this product on my oily spot and it stayed matte for a good 3+ hours before i had to blot again. overall i think this is a really great product and a necessity for me in the summer. i would highly recommend this product if you have incredibly oily skin like me.

products i am loving!
so i am about to show you the things i've been wearing for the past week, maybe two. and i am not kidding it has been the only things i've been wearing.. i am happy to say i found a routine i really really like =D
so here goes...
i start off with my sample of the nars foundation primer with spf 20. i really like this product but i wouldn't recommend this for people with oily skin. but wait a minute i have oily skin... lol well i use this product in place of a moisturizer. that is why i really like it. if i use a moisturizer then this primer my face would be an oily mess. really really not cute. lol
so after a couple of minutes i apply this laura mercier mattifying cream on my t-zone. this product is really amazing and i totally recommend this. i will most likely do a blog post soon about this.
after a couple of minutes i apply this cheek stain from stila onto my bare cheeks. it is really pretty and looks really really natural. and it really does stay on all day.
ok so after the cheek stain dried i use this retractable kabuki brush from eco-tools and i apply my foundation. i use everyday minerals in buttered tan. love this stuff! amazing coverage for being a powder product. and even though i put a couple layers of this on the cheek stain still shows through. kinda like a glow from within kinda thing. really really like this foundation. will most likely do a review on this also. =D
ok so my eyes makeup. i start off with urban decay primer potion. i ALWAYS use this. even when i just use eyeliner. it really keeps everything looking fresh and not smudged.
for eyeshadow i usually just use either shag, scratch or underground all over my lid. ( they are the last row in the palette). i loveee urban decay eyeshadows. look amazing and shiny and it looks like you spent lots of time perfecting your eye makeup even though all you did was put on one color. amazing!
i've been tight-lining and then smudging the eyeliner really close to my lash line. looks really nice. and i've been using the urban decay 24/7 liners. these are so soft and black. hehe im trying to use up the liner since i've had it for awhile.
i curl my lashes with the shu uemora lash curler. really recommend this even though its a lil pricey. i forgot to take a picture but i use the dior diorshow iconic mascara. holy crap it is expensive (27) but holy crap do i love this product! i will definitely do a review!
lastly i fill in my eyebrow with clarins eyebrow pencil in soft blonde. no i do not have blond hair but for some reason it works really well for me =)
ok so last step is lips. i moisturize with my kiehls coconut lip balm and then finish off with revlon colorburst lipstick in 'lilac'
so that's everything i do! and everything that i use! hehe so now on to some unrelated pictures =D

recent buys!
hello. so i was going to do a things i am wanting at the moment post but i can't actually think of anything that i really want! lol so i am going to do a post about things i bought recently =D
this is the rare earth mask from kiehls. i waited over a month for this mask because it was SOLD OUT company wide! i had a couple samples of this mask and it is just amazing! i really really like this mask. a little goes a long way. a jar is 5 oz for i think 23 dollars. it will last you a really long time because the formula is really thin therefore u a little goes a long way.
my new favorite mattifying product! i tried it a couple of times and it really works. if used in conjunction with a primer it will keep your make up on all day and keep you less oily for a longer period of time. at first i thought it would just be like the matte cream from mac but this is so much better! love it
new favorite lip product! my lips have been incredibly dry for some weird reason even though i've been drinking lots and lots of water. normally i would use aquafina chap stick and it would be enough. but it wasn't working so i bought this. this product is really really awesome. its 9 bucks for a tube and it comes in different flavor! mine is coconut and it smells divine. and it also works wonderfully. love it!
another laura mercier product. except this one i am not 100% about. might actually return it actually. its just like any concealor except it feels really really drying. the coverage is good but its too drying for me. i think i just got a dud. maybe i'll just go exchange it. =)
this lipstick is eh. the color is too dark for me. btw the color is 'caramel' it is very creamy and smooth but the color isn't for me. i think i might just go exchange it for some color that i actually like. lol

hello everyone! so i haven't blogged in over a month.. i just haven't been in the writing mood. school has been hectic. i really really am stressed out because of school and work. i work at a place where theres not much to do but pretend to work. it really depresses me because im the type of person that rather have lots of work to do than do nothing and be bored. i know i am still getting paid but i feel like im cheating someone when i have nothing to do =/. also because i work in a doctor's office there are many types of people that come in and out of the office. some patients are just really really "urghal;ksdjflksd" and other are really really nice. but overall im really really tired of my job.
also, another reason that i am really stressed is because of school. my first year of community college i went to this counselor and he told me a list of classes that i have to take to be able to transfer. today i went to another counselor and he told me that i've been taking classes that does not apply to my major at all. so i am stuck at my college for about another 3 years. fml. but he said that i will have time to raise my gpa and get into a really good school (ucla). that is my goal for now. im really stressed because i was hoping to be able to transfer next year. but i am a strong person and i will move on from this.
but overall i've just been emotionally and physically drained. i think it might have something to do with my birth control pill. i recently changed pill and i've been really really emotional and i've been breaking out like crazy. everything just adds to my insanity =/ but anyway... the only really good news lately is my grades. =) my boyfriend says that i am a naturally good writer but i never believed him. but i am starting to. because i spend 1 hour on a paper and i get an A in it. and without trying too. lol. this makes me happy. anyway... i think i will do some make up talk now. hehe i think i am going to copy swtest2lips and do a things i am lemming at the moment =) hehe i hope its okay with you!
